Elian Zinner's work focuses on making the absent visible and exposing hidden layers, both material and conceptual. She searches for beauty in the incidental and, layer by layer, reveals what escapes the quick glance. Her focus is on classical, figurative oil painting and installations.

Elian Zinner was educated at Ecole Cantonale des Beaux-Arts, Sion and helds an Executive Master of Cultural & Gender Studies of Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst, Zurich
